Pork Pies are back/BBQ Week

It’s National Barbecue Week, and the butchers have been very busy here at March House Farm. In addition to the three Basic, Family and Premium Packs we have created a Do It Yourself Burger kit, which comes with 1 Kg of lovely March House Farm Beef mince, an onion, two tomatoes, a block of vintage cheddar, a little gem lettuce and six rolls. We even persuaded Chef Robin to show us how to make them. You can watch the video below!

Helping Hoggy

This week we took part in another exciting new venture for March House Farm Shop. Ex England Cricketer Matthew Hoggard, a regular here at the Farm Shop, asked us to help him with his new cooking series, Hoggy’s Grills. A London company had engaged Hoggy to do a video conference demonstration for some of their clients and employees, and to that end a large box of ingredients was shipped from the farm to the people taking part.

In this way, the recipients were able to join in and actually take part in the cooking demonstration. We were very proud to supply a large amount of the produce which went in to the meal kits, including March house Farm lamb, and wish Matthew the very best of luck with this new concept.

      Hi Michael. We don’t currently bake any gluten free pies but they are in development. Our Chef Robin wants to perfect his GF pastry, then we will make batches and freeze them as there might not be enough demand for them to make fresh alongside the normal varieties. I hope that answers your question.
